Hello everyone! I just wanted to take a moment and talk about Princeton Library and all of its features. It is by far more then a library to check out books. It is even beyond story time. They even hold story times in different languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French and more!
Princeton Library will be holding a Children's Book Festival. You'll be able to meet your favorite author, get that favorite book autographed and talk to them. Get to know them. It will be held in September. Check back here at Macaroni Kid, it will be listed in my events section once they announce the date.
They also offer Nature Explorers Backpacks. This is a great thing for families to do to get out in nature and explore. They provide back packs that will include information about where to go, compasses and binoculars. Sounds like so much fun!
Top 5 under 5 is a program for children 5 years old and younger. Every month come check here for this months recommendations. This is the link for February.
Library Stuffed Animals. They offer using stuffed animals to help children read, write and use their imaginations. You can even take home the lion, Narwhal for a short stay!
This is an amazing program, called 1000 Books. The goal is to read 1000 books before Kindergarten. The library like to promote reading to the child from new born and up. There are incentives not only for the child but for the parents/caregiver!
