Top 5 Playgrounds in Hamilton and Surrounding Area

By Angela Earley, Publisher March 12, 2020

The Hamilton and local areas are lucky to have so many great parks and playgrounds for kids. My son has swung, spun, and raced through many of them ... and he definitely has his favorites!

*Things are changing by the day. Please check before going to make sure playgrounds are open.*

Here’s a list of our family’s top five favorite parks and playgrounds in Hamilton and the reasons we love them:

Veterans Park

Location: 2655-2885 Klockner Road Hamilton, NJ 08610

Klockner Road is the entrance by the plane. This is where the playground is located. There are also entrances for different areas of the park on Whitehorse Hamilton Square Road, Kuser Road and Yardville Hamilton Square Road.

Features: Walking trails, playgrounds, picnic area, baseball field and tennis court. Something for the entire family to enjoy. There is even a dog park!

What my son loves: That if he is feeling adventurous, there are big kid areas or if he is feeling more cautious, there is a smaller kid area.

What I love: I love the openness of it. All the equipment isn't on top of each other. There are bathrooms located near the playground as well.
