I was recently contacted by the Woodloch Resort in the Poconos for advertising opportunities. My family and I LOVE the Pocono area and was more then happy to promote the Resort! When my family and I were invited to the Resort to check out first-hand the Woodloch Resort experience, I jumped on it!
In a nutshell, it is clear why Woodloch Resort was voted #1 all-inclusive hotel travel within the United States by TripAdvisor! From soup to nuts – this Resort has you covered!
When my family and I arrived, we were greeted by the front desk who, to our delight, advised that our room was ready a few hours before the check-in time! We received our wrist bands (which indicate access to all activities and events – exclusive of a minimal few); received our room cards, Resort map and made our way to our room. It was a hop-skip-and-jump to the Mount Laurel room where were assigned! Needless to say, the kids were THRILLED that the Mount Laurel section houses in the indoor pool and splash park!
Our room – and room is an understatement – was immaculate! A full kitchen; living room area with a sofa that turned into a sleeper; full bedroom with plenty of space and two Queen-size beds and a huge bathroom – that was our ‘room’!!! Toss in two TV’s and free WiFi and my three kids (ages 10, 8 and 6) were ecstatic!
By the time we unloaded and made our room our home for the weekend – we were starving! We ventured to The Grille at Woodloch and had a very yummy late lunch! While still full, we could not miss out on our first dinner at Woodloch! All meals are simply filling, overwhelming and super abundant! As a mom who does not sit for three meals a day, this was an absolute treat! We were tired so I took the kids over to the Woodloch Forest so they could burn some steam! Finally, we all settled in and watched some cable!
The next morning we were up and at it! The breakfast is amazing at Woodloch! From fruit, to hot/cold cereal; bacon; eggs; home-made breads – we were stuffed! We rolled over to the snow tubing area and had a blast! Trust me – I screamed like a baby going down it! After a long morning of snow tubing – we were starving! Thankfully the Woodloch lunch filled us up and then some!! My daughter and I then checked out the art studio while my husband and the boys jumped in on “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader” trivia contest! We all had such an awesome afternoon!
There are SO many events and activities that are on-going at Woodloch, you cannot hit them all! My kids were so worn out that two of them were falling asleep during dinner on our Saturday night! A late dip in the indoor pool and we all hunkered down for the night! Because it was so dark in the morning, we slept through breakfast! Thank goodness! The lunch buffet on Sunday was insane! Crab legs; shrimp double the size of my thumb; pizza; pasta; fruit; salad; and way too much to list – we were sort of glad we slept in!
The snow was falling as we left Woodloch. We had such a phenomenal weekend and plan to return in the Spring/Summer to check out the activities relating to those seasons!!
Trust me, you want travel and not spend an arm and a leg; have top-notch service; accommodations; amenities and more – look no further – Woodloch Resort in the Poconos is THE place to be!
