Princeton School Of Rock is  excited to be a public donation location for the 2014 Marine Corps Toys for Tots gift drive.

School of Rock's always spectacular Winter Season Shows (sorry folks, no Christmas tunes here) kick-off December 13thand our students will be doing their part to turn their passion for Rock & Roll  music into a driving force to collect Toys for the Marine Corps gift drive.

First introduced in 1947 by Colonel William L. Hendricks, at the time a Major in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, the Marine Toys for Tots program has collected and distributed toys to needy children for more than 60 years and has drop-off locations in communities large and small all over the nation. Over 400 million toys have been distributed to more than 188 million less fortunate children since the program began. Toys for Tots was designated by the U.S. Secretary of Defense as an official activity of the U.S. Marine Corps and an official mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in 1995 The School of Rock Performance Program is the hallmark program that has made the school a success worldwide.   School of Rock performance students know the basics of how to play their instrument and are ready to take it to the stage. This program introduces the team element into music instruction. Students learn harmonies, musicianship, and how to perform in an authentic rock show environment.

"Just bring a unwrapped toy to the Princeton School Of Rock and/or any of our shows on Dember 13th and get in for free", said Michael Morpurgo, owner of the school. "Donations will go directly to the Toys For Tots," echoing the success of the school's previous fundraisers.  All smiles, Morpurgo couldn't be prouder. "I think what we are doing is a testament to how great our students and staff are.  All of our December shows will be amazing".
